Photo Submission Guidelines:** IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR SELECTING YOUR DIGITAL PHOTO FOR UPLOADING ** It is ok for the photo you select to have multiple people in it. There is an area on the order form for you to describe the child in the photo to be used.
We want your child’s photo to look great in your book, but we need your help. When selecting an image for uploading, please make sure: Child’s facial expression pleases you and reflects your child’s personality. Child is visible from head to toe for full body shots. Child is visible from head to the middle of the chest for half body shots. Image is high quality. If you are taking the photo, set your digital camera to the highest quality setting it will allow. Nothing is blocking any part of the child. Especially look for a hand on the child’s shoulder. If someone has their arm around him/her, this often gets missed.
If you are scanning a photo to upload, select a clear, sharp original photo. The child’s head should be no smaller than a quarter coin in the original photo and scanned at no less than 300 dpi (Do not scan Polaroid pictures).
